The Maurilio Alvarado Vargas High School  provides  various  services  very  important  for  what  the  work  educational  I know  I developed  from  the  better way. They stand out among them:

SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID SERVICE

We receive in our institution a student population eager to improve, but many times, they find themselves with the barrier of the economic situation. For this reason, we collaborate with parents or guardians in the necessary procedures to obtain scholarships, such as:

• Transport

• Feeding

Students are financially supported in situations such as the purchase of shoes, pants, school supplies, tickets, payment of exams to enter universities, purchase of glasses and various types of needs. These procedures are channeled through the Student Welfare Committee and the Guidance Department.

VOCATIONAL ORIENTATION

TRANSPORT SERVICE

Bus companies provide direct service, exclusively for students at lesson start time, this is provided in all districts  from  east of the canton. Throughout the day on the street next to the Liceo there is a regular bus service to all areas.

Free or subsidized bus service is provided for low-income students, which would be of great help to the parents or guardians of our students and would further motivate young people to enter our institution.

SCHOOL CANTEEN

FOOD AND NUTRITION PROGRAM

It is one of the greatest strengths of our institution, it provides breakfast service to a group of low-income students whose situation was analyzed by the Guidance Department; In addition, lunch service is provided for the entire student population that needs it.

The cafeteria has three employees who, supported by the Health and Food Committee and the Administrative Board, excellently meet the needs of a student population that receives quality food on a daily basis.

This program offers complementary food to the student population. It promotes healthy eating habits, hygiene habits and appropriate behavior around daily food. The student canteen represents an ideal space to provide nutritious food to students and a valuable opportunity to encourage them, effective food-nutritional education processes.

SODA AND PHOTOCOPYING SERVICE

As part of the effort to make the stay at the school as comfortable as possible, our institution has a soda and photocopying service for the use of students and collaborators.
